Now before I start let me make something clear, when I first saw Far Cry 3 being demoed at E3 I was put off by it, I didn't like the way it handled, the way it looked and the way it played overall. Now that it has been released all I can say is that my mouth is full of crow and it is one of the best games I have ever played in 2012. More after the jump

Now let's get this out of the way first, I enjoy playing the Call of Duty franchise despite it being regarded as the most popular one trick pony in the world. So the question is, does Black Ops 2 try to set itself apart from its brethren?

Borderlands 2 Review

The overall premise of Borderlands 2 is simple, stick the player in an environment where nearly everything wants to kill you, give said player power ups that can in many cases be way overpowered and give him/her enough firepower to destroy the planet several times over...essentially it's like the Legend of Zelda...with guns...Full Review after the break..

Counter Strike Global Offensive Review

Now to all of you who think that this game is like Call of Duty or Battlefield you are in for a very rude awakening when it comes to Counter Strike: Global Offensive. The game throws out many of the neat little innovations made in the last  8 years of first person shooters. But this does not mean it's a bad game by any means. Full Review after the Jump.

Darksiders 2 Review

Let's get this out of the way first, I played the first Darksiders and I did not enjoy it as much as everyone else. In my opinion the combat felt stiff and dull and I realized there were a few bugs here and there. But do not misunderstand me, I did not outright hate the first Darksiders in fact the things that drew me in the most were the character designs and the story. The game just needed some polishing up in certain areas especially combat. Now that Darksiders 2 has been released and I played it I can tell you that many things have indeed improved but a few things have not.

Max Payne 3 Review

The sun, the tropical heat, the beautiful women and the masses of dead bodies and spent bullet casings is the creed of Max Payne 3. It has been 9 years since Max has graced us with his monotone voice, his sour demeanor and his amazing ability to devour painkillers as if they were some sort of after dinner mints. Spec Ops the Line Review

The sand in your boots, the desert heat burning the top of your head and 1000 bullets whizzing past by you is the norm in Spec Ops: The Line. The full review is right after the Jump!

Sleeping Dogs Review

The neon lights of Hong Kong shine on the blood pool of a rival gang member as you stand triumphantly above him with a tire iron in hand and the honour of your triad in the other. You ride off into the sunset with a moped that you stole from an old lady back in the fish market. That is the kind of freedom you will get to experience in Sleeping Dogs and for the most part it is a good experience, read the full review after the jump!
